You’ve still got Lightning in You

I am a HUGE Wes Anderson fan. As a hybrid graphic design and film nerd, his movies are at the crux of where graphic design (an overall love of aesthetics) and film nerdery intersect. The vintage aesthetic of his production design, the precision framing and impeccable storytelling are simply euphoric for one such as myself. And if I had to choose a favorite of all his films, it would have to be Moonrise Kingdom, with the Royal Tenenbaums a near second. One of my favorite quotes from this movie are “I think you’ve still got lightning in you” it’s literally and figurative and simply delightful, just like the movie as a whole.

For “You’ve still got Lightning in You” I wanted to play with a Swedish style of Illustrations for this design, something youthful and fun.
